Meredith's Monday Musings: Halloween!

Hey Everyone!!

Happy Monday AND Happy Halloween!!! I can't believe that today is already the last day of October and it's Halloween.

Today's topic for Meredith's Monday Musings is probably one that you can predict. If you guessed Halloween, then you'd be right!

Halloween was one of my favorite holidays growing up. Who didn't love being able to dress up as a kid, have a party at school, and afterward, get a bunch of free candy. It was the best!!

Now that I'm older, I still enjoy it, except the part were instead of being able to go house to house and receive free candy, I'm the one who has to go buy it, and give the candy away. :'(

One benefit of being an adult around Halloween though is the day after Halloween, when all the Halloween candy goes on sale that wasn't purchased, I can buy it! So yah for that!!

Normally, I don't dress up for this holiday anymore. I don't have any little kids, and it just didn't make sense to dress up, just for myself. I get to look at myself in the mirror before my hair or teeth are brushed, and I'm not dressed, and that's a scary enough sight. Haha! ;-)

This year though, I'm going to be dressing up. At my work, we're having a costume contest! I decided to dress up as Hermonie Granger from the Harry Potter books. I know, it's a bit silly, but I always wanted to attend Hogwarts, so here's my way to pretend I go there for a day.
