"Little girls who broke the rules needed to be punished." #HisLittle Captive #SatSpanks

Hi All!

Today, I have a naughty snippet to share of my newly released book, His Little Captive! Enjoy!

Grabbing the waist of her pants, I pulled them down to reveal a sparkly pink panty-covered bottom.
“Hey! You can’t do that,” she screeched, turning around to try and pull her pants up. There went her compliance. Grabbing her wrist, I pinned it to her back as I said, “This is going to be a bare bottom spanking, one that you’ve earned. If you try and interfere again, I’ll go get my handcuffs to stop you from moving and afterwards, you’ll be punished with a bar of soap in your mouth. So, I suggest you reach for your pillow if you want to hold onto something.”
I released her hand and without another word, her arms wrapped around her pillow and she hung on.
Getting back to her pink sparkly panties—so damn cute—I pulled those down, revealing her perfect creamy white ass.
Rubbing my hand over it, warming her skin, I knew it wouldn’t stay pale and pristine for long, but little girls who broke the rules needed to be punished.

"Where am I?" #HisLittleCaptive #WipItUpWednesday

Hi Everyone!

Today, I have a snippet for y'all from my newly released book, His Little Captive! Enjoy!

“Good morning, Lilly,” he greeted. His powerful well-muscled body moved with easy grace as he walked into the room and came to the side of the bed. “My name is Charles Davidson. How are you feeling?” Taking a seat on the edge of the bed, he leaned in, putting his hand flat on the mattress on the other side of my legs, effectively trapping me.
It’s okay, it’s going to be okay. I swallowed, trying to wet my parched throat. Slowly, I scooted away from him. I didn’t want to be close to this stranger.
A million questions raced through my brain, but I settled on the one that seemed the most imperative. “Where am I?”
He stared at me intently for a moment, his penetrating gaze making me wiggle underneath the covers. I didn’t like the feeling that he was x-raying me. It felt like he had stripped me bare and was watching me, waiting for me to make the first move.
In the silence, I realized that I hadn’t answered his question. “I’m feeling confused this morning and I’d like you to answer my questions… please.” Hopefully, my added please would soften him up to share the information I wanted.
He sent a half-smile my way, making my insides quiver a little.

Meredith's Monday Musings: Book Pre-Order

Hi Everyone!

Happy Monday! How's your day going so far? Mine is going fantastic, especially because I have some exciting news to share! My new story, His Little Captive is going on pre-order in TODAY and it's coming out THIS Friday! Woot woot!

Some of you might be surprised, but today's topic for Meredith's Monday Musing is all about: Pre-order books!

I'm going to be honest with y'all, I don't know much about this topic, but I do have some basic information. To start with, for folks who don't know, a pre-order is where you can purchase a book on Amazon, but the book won't appear in your library until midnight the day of the book's release.

Now, I'm sure some of you are wondering, why the heck would I purchase a book when it's in pre-order? I don't get it any cheaper or earlier than anyone else, so I might as well purchase it on the release day. To be honest, you'd be 100% correct if you thought this.

However, here are my thoughts on buying pre-order stories. I enjoy buying books while they're on pre-order because I have a horrible habit of forgetting when my favorite authors are coming out with new stories. So, if I buy a book when it's for sale as a pre-order, I know that it'll show up in my Kindle library as soon as the release day comes and I won't forget about it then.

Additionally, I love reading when I wake up first thing in the morning. It's the perfect way to start your day. For me, in order to buy a book, I have to fire up my big computer, purchase the book, download it onto my Kindle, then I can begin reading it. Who wants to do all of that early in the morning? I sure as heck don't! So, by ordering a book on pre-order, when I wake up on the release morning, it's waiting in my library and I can start my day off right! :-)

Furthermore, as an author, the benefit of having your book for pre-order, as soon as your release day comes, you should hopefully have your Also Boughts already showing up. That would be amazing and a great way to help boost your books in the ranking. In addition, all the sales that you make during your pre-order time get "dumped" into that release day. So, if you're attempting to make it onto the USA Today Bestseller list, pre-order is the way to go.

Lastly, there really aren't any cons to buying a pre-order story. So, as a reader, why wouldn't you just do it? You don't lose any money, you're guarantee to get the book at midnight the day of the release, so what's there to lose for you? Nothing.

What do y'all think about books that are placed on pre-order? Do you love 'em or hate 'em?

That's all I have for now. I have to go and start creating some teasers to help promote my book. Have a happy day, everyone!

Meredith's Monday Musings: Yellow and Pink

Hi Everyone!

Happy Monday! Holy cow, it's May! I can't believe this. I feel like I just was saying how shocked I was that it was April and now it's May. Geez, where in the heck is this time going? How's everyone's day going so far? Mine is going pretty good. I turned my edits in and I'm now waiting for a release date, cover, and blurb from my publisher. I'm pretty excited! In the mean time, I'm working on another story.

Today's Meredith Monday is all about: Pink and yellow!

Some of you might not know this, but pink and yellow are my two favorite colors. If it were up to me, all of my book covers would be pink and yellow and my entire wardrobe would be too! Sadly, my publisher has reminded me that there are more colors in the world besides pink and yellow and he's right.

I've gotten asked before why I love these two colors so much. To me, it seems like an obvious answer. If you look at them, they're just so bright and happy!

When I look at something that's yellow, I feel happy. The color is bright and cheerful. If I'm in a bad mood and see something yellow, it definitely helps put me in a better mood. No one ever sees something upsetting that is yellow.

When I look at something pink, it makes me happy too, not as much as yellow, but enough. Additionally, pink things remind me of sweetness. I know that sounds really weird, but go with me on it. Imagine a cupcake that has pink frosting on it. When you look at that cupcake, you get excited because you know it's going to be super sweet! That's how I feel when I see something pink.

Furthermore, I associate pink with age play, which might also be why when I see pink items, it reminds me of sweetness. All of my age play stories, are sweet ones. When I write my little characters, nine times out of ten, there favorite color is pink! If you check my Pinterest account, I have a board titled "AP". Pretty much all the pins on that board have some pink in them.

Now, don't get wrong folks. I do enjoy all colors, especially vibrant ones, like I wrote in a previous post. However, pink and yellow are my favorite colors. They just make me really happy to look at and who's not going to enjoy looking at colors that make them happy?

That's all I have for today. I hope that everyone has a super Monday!!

"You've earned yourself a spanking." Maddie Taylor is visiting today!

Hi Everyone!

Today, I have the fabulous, Maddie Taylor over on my blog! She’s here to share a HOT snippet of her new book, His Rebellious Mate! Enjoy!

Like a shot, she took off, running headlong through the darkness. She wasn’t quick enough and hadn’t gone more than a few yards when a steely arm wrapped around her waist from behind. Lifted off her feet, her body slammed hard against his broad chest, the force enough to force the breath from her lungs in a whoosh. While she gasped for air, he rotated her body, catching her against his hip, and, as if she weighed no more than a sack of potatoes, the brute followed his partner through the trees.
Although stunned, her shock didn’t last long. Straining against his grasp, she kicked, bucked, and fought with all her might. It had no effect on him. He didn’t slow or even flinch, acting like he carried a struggling woman through a dark forest every day.
Perhaps he did!
Holy crap.
Redoubling her efforts, she raked her nails down his forearm. This elicited a reaction, but not the one she expected. Instead of dropping her, he swung her around and flipped her over his shoulder, moving her so fast, she got light-headed. Then, to her utter shock, his huge hand came down hard on her ass—twice.
“No way,” she screamed. “No how!”
In a fit of anger, she pounded on his back with her fists, rocking and bowing her body, not caring if she fell from the shoulder of this tree of a man. She wasn’t about to let anyone—particularly a barbaric behemoth of an alien—spank her.
Handling her one hundred sixty-pound frame with ease, he set her down in front of him with an angry growl. In the back of her mind, she knew it was crazy to go toe-to-toe with him, yet her outrage overrode common sense, and the basic need for self-preservation.
She angled her head back and glared up at him. Then froze, as a wavering shaft of light from the rising alien moon broke through the branches, and she caught her first good look at her captor.
Black hair surrounded a very human-like face, with slashes of dark brows knitted together in obvious anger. They didn’t detract from the masculine beauty of his bronze skin, angular cheekbones, firm jaw, and full sensuous lips. But it was his eyes that she found so compelling, and unusual. If not for the glimmer of moonlight, they would have appeared black. Instead, his gaze glowed golden in the low light.
In a word, he was breathtaking.
