A Blanket Fort of Fun!

Hi Everyone!

Man has it been a long time since I've done a blog hop. Every time that I remember to do one, tends to be the day that the hop comes out.

Today, I'm sharing a snippet from my current WIP. It's a really sweet, AP story. It's the sequel to, The Prince's Little Mate.

In this snippet, Ian built a blanket for Maggie. He has just brought her in there and is showing what other surprises he has for there in he fort. Please keep in mind that this is a WIP. It has not been edited at all, so please forgive the grammar mistakes. Enjoy!

"Lastly, I built this fort because I thought it'd be fun for you. I also know how much you like stuffed animals, which is why I put the few that I had in here. So you can play with them if you want."
"I-" Maggie interjected, trying to interrupt me.
"Sweetie, don't lie. That is one thing I will not allow. We dream shared for quite a long time before our mating period started. I saw how many stuffed animals you have. I know that you like them."
She turned her head away from mine and crossed her arms over her chest. My little girl was too cute when she pouted.
"I've told you this before, and I'll tell you this again, there's no need to be embarrassed by anything you desire. Now, let's have some dinner. I made one of your favorites."
Her gaze turned back to mine. "Sushi! I love this! It's so good!"

A fort filled with stuffed animals. That's my kind of blanket fort. :-)

I'm currently at 19,000 words with this story. My goal is to finish the first rough draft with 35,000 words and then add another 15,000 words when I edit. So, it's going to be a while before this story gets published. Hopefully, sometime this summer it will. So, keep your eyes out for it in the coming months!

Happy Sunday!
