Being Little Relieves SO much Holiday Stress! Katherine Deane is Visiting Today with her new book, We Need A Little Christmas!
I have Katherine Deane over today to talk about her latest book that she co-authored with Abbie Adams!
Hi Meredith, thanks so much for having me over today! I’m very excited about this new story. It’s my first Age Play, and I had so much fun with it. I really enjoyed working with this married couple and seeing where they led me.
Jack and Ivy are a DD couple who have found that domestic discipline just isn’t enough this stressful holiday season. Ivy wants to bring up AP, but just doesn’t have the courage to tell him. So when her bad day gets worse, and she lashes out, Jack can only do what he knows best…
“I hate this fricking holiday! I hate my job. My mom's bringing a guy. A new husband! Yeah, I wonder if the ink was even dry on the divorce papers before they hooked up! I hate it when you stand there all calm from doing some nice little programming job—away from the insanity, still having the time to cook a healthy meal, without getting your damn shirt dirty. My day sucked! You happy now?"
She saw the flash in his eyes right before he did his Uh oh, now you're in for it look. Taking a deep breath, he lowered his chin and set down both cooking utensils, turned off the heat, and wiped his hand slowly across his five o'clock shadow. That was his 'tell' right there. The almost-beard gets stroked right before the hand starts paddling—hard.
"I'm sorry." She meant it. Really she did. She didn't know why she was picking a fight with him. He was the one good thing in her life. Yet whenever she got stressed out, she found herself goading him. And that made her feel terrible. "I'm sorry, honey." Her voice warbled and she shivered under his gaze.
So handsome, so stern, his beautiful grey eyes had a color all their own. And she usually swooned. Now, she was considering running out the back door. His spankings hurt. And she didn't want to cry. She always sobbed after he spanked her. And sometimes it embarrassed her to think about how he must see her, bent over, bared, smacked... disciplined.
"You have thirty seconds to prepare yourself, young lady. Couch. Now." His voice was so stern, but she could see by his eyes that he wasn't angry. Jack could tell she needed this. It still didn't make her feel less guilty about pushing him. And those words. He had called her young lady again. If he only knew how those words really made her feel. "One…" he counted slowly, "two...three."
"Yes, sir." Yes, Daddy? She couldn't say it. Hanging her head with a soft sniffle, she trudged toward the living room. When she heard his hard footfall behind her, she squealed and ran to the couch. Jack would add to her punishment if she dawdled. Unzipping her skirt and throwing it onto the lazy chair in the corner, she practically dived over the arm. He wanted her bottom in the air, her chest over the arm, and her cheek on the couch. This was his favorite, quick attitude adjustment position. Other times, he took her over his knee and drew it out longer. But dinner was almost ready, and she had been extremely rude. A naughty little girl whose daddy was about to paddle her poor bottom. No, she grimaced and tightly grabbed the pillow. He wasn't Daddy. He was Jack, her husband. And she was not a naughty, little girl who needed her bottom warmed. She was a woman—a very conflicted, confused grown woman—who was about to feel the displeasure of her husband's hand against her backside.
Oh! That snippet was good! I think the first time that a little calls their Dom, Daddy is always very hard. But once said, it feels like a weight has been lifted off their shoulders.
Thirty-three year old, Ivy Henry seems to have it all. A well-paying job, a new house, and her wonderful HOH/husband, Jack. At her request, they had incorporated Domestic Discipline into their marriage a few years ago and she flourished under his love, guidance, and support.
But, this year's holiday season is wreaking havoc on their calm relationship. Between the stress of work and hosting this year's Christmas Eve party for all the family, Ivy is becoming more and more out of control. To top it off, she has a secret she can't share with Jack.
Their relationship is wonderful but she wants more—a chance to explore her younger side. Ivy desires to do Age Play but is fighting her needs because it is embarrassing. How can she trust Jack not to laugh when she tells him she wants to curl up on his lap at night and call him Daddy?
Jack has been watching Ivy slip away emotionally for the past year. His beautiful, sweet wife is now always angry and ill tempered. DD just doesn't seem to be cutting it any longer. He can tell she is unhappy, but doesn't know how to help her until the day he finds her chat sessions on her computer. Discovering hope again, he begins to make plans to escape from this stressful holiday. He will introduce his precious Ivy to her new daddy—him. They both need to reconnect and they both need a Little Christmas.
Thank you so much for coming over Katherine! Your story is definitely on the top of my TBR list now! ;-)
Have a great day everyone!
